Fieval/Eric Goes West: Part I

Part I: St. Louis, MO to Tulsa, OK, with a pit stop for lunch in Bolivar, MO (Destination Palm Springs, CA)

Had to have the standard "we're excited to leave and here's the vehicle that's taking us there" picture. It's a 2001 Ford Focus if you were wondering. Midnight Blue.

Hmm, anyone want to take a stab at the the final mileage on the car when I roll into Palm Springs, CA?

Bolivar, MO, population 9,143. Home of the Garrison's. Detoured off of Highway 44 to grab lunch at...

Smith's Restaurant. Their claim to fame is an awesome, and giant, tenderloin sandwich. Unfortunately in my haste to eat, I forgot to take a picture of the actual sandwich. But non-the-less a very cool place to eat.

OKLAHOMA, where the wind... Notice the sign is shaped like the state with the top panhandle. It was an easy drive down Highway 44 to Tulsa. No problems to speak of.
